What’s On At The Exhibition This July Weekend

For equestrian and western working horse lovers this Saturday and Sunday are going to be special for you as the Reigning Cowhorse Association will be holding a two day competition.

The event takes place in the Golden Mile Arena located on the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds - 250 Thatcher East.

The event gets underway at 8 am each day and runs until that day’s competition is over.

Reigning Cowhorse is where a cowboy has to cut or isolate a cow from the rest of the herd with the least disturbance possible to the herd.

The cow is then maneuvered over to a set location.

The event is described as one, if not, the closest to what actual working of cattle on a farm or ranch entails.

The event is FREE to come and watch and the ever popular onsite concession will be open.
