Vanier Sweeps Notre Dame 3 - 0 - Photo Feature Game

The Vanier Spirits senior girls volleyball team defeated the visiting Notre Dame Hounds 3 - 0 in Moose Jaw city league action on Thursday evening.

The Spirits defeated the Hounds 25 - 15, 25 - 11 and 25 - 14 in three games to win the match.

Editor’s Note: For those who are asking are we now covering high school sports again sorry but unfortunately the answer is no.

When we made the tough decision to shut down we ran a column where we offered to cover stories put to us before a June 30th deadline.

We had a grandparent ask if we could go and take some pictures of his granddaughter at a couple of games playing volleyball with Vanier. Hence the reason why no post game comments.

So we are honouring that commitment.

Ironically we have no idea who his granddaughter is.
