Next Council To Have Two Rookies To Municipal Politics

It may look like a new Council - with the defeat of three incumbents losing in their bids to become mayor and one for councillor - but Moose Jaw’s new Council is going to see a lot familiar faces.

James Murdock was elected as Moose Jaw’s 42nd mayor - a rookie to municipal politics - but he will be joined on Council with three incumbents and two former councillors.

Moose Jaw re-elected to Council three incumbents Councillor Jamey Logan, Councillor Heather Eby and Councillor Dawn Luhning.

They will be joined with two former councillors Patrick Boyle and Chris Warren.

The only newcomer councillor to municipal politics is Carla Delaurier.
