Meet Your Candidates - Darrell Markin

My name is Darrell Markin, I grew up right here in Moose Jaw. I have a wife and 3 children whom I'am extremely proud of.

  I believe I am deeply invested in our community, from running a s successful business here in Moose Jaw.

To serving as a board member of The Moose Jaw Warriors for over 12 years and as recently as the last year, sitting for 5 years as a Moose Jaw Police Commissioner.  These experiences have allowed me in one way or another, good and bad to deal with City Hall.

I want to Moose Jaw to grow and to feel safe and be the best city it can be. I feel my background allows me to be able to make the hard decisions and bring together our community.

I want our community to know I will be transparent and bring forth strong policies to better our city.

Outside of my busy days, I enjoy watching sports with friends and family. I can be found at the rink cheering on my son.
